I know I'm probably a dollar short and a day late, but I just stumbled across a fabulous website called Dealgooder.com. The site promotes weekly deals and specials that people can purchase and 50% of the profits go back to local charities to support things like animal shelters, education, and a clean environment.
In a nutshell, Dealgooder.com is a simple and fun idea that gets people to do things we already do, like shopping and helping others while we're at it.
Every week a different non-profit group is selected. And deals range anywhere from haircuts to 75-minute advanced skin care therapy. DealGooder.com makes me feel all warm and fuzzy in side!
